  We came in Bellacinos and ordered some food this evening . We notice all the employees except one was preparing customer's food without using gloves . The one employee that had his gloves on, took his gloves off and touch the inside of the trash can with his bare hands and then went back to the food he was preparing and continue to fix the food and delivered it to some customer that were dining in. This is unsanitary and not good for pathogens and cross contamination of food. I want be eating there again after seeing how food is being prepared without the care and welfare of other.

  The Cheese Steak grinder was pretty good and the pizza wasn't the typical "New York" style that most other places in the area offer. It was also cut into small square pieces instead of the usual giant pie shaped slices. There was plenty or sauce and the toppings were all delicious and fresh. The unsweet tea however wasn't so fresh, that was my only complaint though. Definitely worth trying!

  I asked to bring in a party of 15-20 and was told that was too much trouble, too time-consuming, and required too much clean-up. I've been managing restaurants for over 20 years, and if one of my managers had that attitude, they would no longer work for me. I would send them to this sorry place!
  
  I am posting this in response to the owner's response:
  I wouldn't reply to her response if it wasn't a blatant outrageous hypocritical lie. Her response in denying us to celebrate our son's birthday party was, i quote "we do not tie up several tables on Friday evenings for birthday party groups that enjoy relatively prolonged celebration. It's simply our policy...." On the night in question, I had to go up to the restaurant to see if any of my child's friends (whom I didn't have numbers for), showed up to tell the parents of the change of venue. When I pulled up, I noticed that there was an entire section inside to the left of the doors, that was sectioned off for a party. I thought to myself, surely that can't be when the owner told my husband and I that wasn't "policy". Then I saw people going in, to that section, bringing A LOT of presents to "celebrate" a family christmas party. I know this because I asked a lady as she was bringing in more gifts. When I left, there was at least 20 something people at that "prolonged celebration", with tons of gifts. Reader's know this, one of the excuses the owner gave us was that to have a party with pizza, cake, and gifts" took up too much time and space."
  I'm sure that the owner will have some sarcastic response to this based on her responses from my husband's post, and other unsatisfied costumers. The food maybe good (that's why my son picked that place), but you can only go so far on crappy custumer service. Do you really want to go somewhere with a spiteful owner?
